Is searching for :
 
A PhD Candidate

 

To perform basic and applied research in the following topic in order to obtain a PhD degree: Machine-Tool Green Controller. The PhD candidate will work on a European Union funded research project (NEXT: Next generation production systems) as a research assistant.
Required Qualifications
Computer Science degree (M.S.) equivalent to EPFL's
Knowledge and experience in programming
Interest in machine design and manufacturing
We offer a challenging environment of research work funded by European projects in collaboration with academic and industrial partners across Europe.
StartingDate: 1st of April 2008 or later
